Hospital Stay/Ankle Surgery Costs

I am in the midst of relocating to Umea, Sweden from Los Angeles, California in order to play full time with my bands Ascension and Zonaria as well as represent my newly formed record label King's Throne Records at its new European branch. While in the process of renovating our new office/studio building here, I had the unfortunate luck of falling through a water damaged ceiling and breaking my ankle. The break required a 3 day stay in the hospital as well as surgery to pin my broken ankle back together. The (even more) bad news I have been informed of is that because I am working in Sweden as a "specialist" I do not qualify for any of the country's social programs including health care. This has left me fully responsible for an extremely hefty hospital bill that I am told will prevent me from being allowed to re-enter the country after my trip home to the U.S. for the holidays as well as hold up my working visa/residency permit application process until the bill is paid. I do not have any insurance back home in the U.S. to help pay for this nor do I have any savings as all of them have been spent in the process of this move. If there are any of you out in cyberspace who can find it in your hearts to donate to a broke and injured musician's cause I would surely be grateful. Thanks very much in advance!
