This will be my final post...
This will be my final post for this page. We met our goal, but we had to say goodby to Hayden too soon. I cannot begin to express our thank you's and
appreciation for all that was so lovingly given for our little monkey. We miss her dearly and have spoken with many that shared with us in their admiration and constant suprise in the strenghth and love one so young.
I close this page...but will start a new one for the
memorial for Hayden, the one that Mom and Dad
have chosen, one that exemplifies Hayden's love of life and the love she had for her family

From Grandpa:
Yesterday we met with Family and friends to celebrate Hayden Jade's life and to say goodbye
to her physical body. The services inside was about Hayden's love of life and her family, her smiles and laughter and her courage and strength.
As we gather outside more encouraging words were said to help realize that Hayden is free and is in a much better place. We had a dove release,
Chris and Rachael released a white dove to symbolize Haydens spirit, followed immediately by three more for the father, son and holy spirit which now takes care of her. All attending were gathered in a circle and given ballons of purple and white and at mom and dads release, all filled the air and were watched floating skywards.
The ceremony was beautiful and special, we cannot begin to thank all that helped in allowing this to happen, nor for the love and support for our
families. Your constant prayers and encouraging notes help us realize just how special our little monkey was to everyone.

Hayden Mullaney is a beautiful, active five year old who loves cats, dinosaurs, dancing and all things purple.
Hayden was diagnosed with Atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT). On May 18, 2011, the extremely rare brain tumor was surgically removed at Dell Children’s Hospital in
Continuation of Hayden’s treatments was at MD
On Mar 9 2012, a reoccurrence of her AT/Rt was found and another surgery was done to remove this tumor. A new protocol was found to try and combat the cancer and was administered from Dell Children’s
Hayden started to have small issues show up from time to time but each cleared on its own until October-November 2012. She went thru many CT scans, x-rays and MRI’s and the day after her 5th birthday the diagnosis of her left lung and chest area was Malignant Epathelioid Sarcoma. Hayden’s parents were left with few options so the day before Thanksgiving 2012 Hayden was released to hospice care. Chris and Rachael decided on home hospice so Hayden would always have family and friend around her.
We now wait and see what is to be next. Hayden has not given up and still plays and waits to be able to be home and feel safe.
Please help give this beautiful child and family some support in prayers and in love
Insurance will not cover the cost of all of the home hospice needs. Rachael has put her college classes on hold to be a home caregiver.
Any help that you can give is very much appreciated. Donations will help her parents, Rachael and Chris Mullaney, provide a comfortable home for Hayden during her treatment and help ease the financial costs associated with her care.

Dear Hayden, we learned about your plight through your Daddy when he worked at Google as a chef. We all called him Chef Chris ;) We learned that you are a very special and brave little girl. Your spirit is amazing and it shows in very picture. Remember, you are stronger than this disease and you will triumph over it. You are in our prayers and thoughts!
