Champion Mom Fighting Bone Cancer
Donation protected
Hi... My name is Steve. I am a 22 year old that recently graduated from university. I have a younger sister of 21 years.
Some six years ago, my mother was treated for breast cancer and recovered from it well having only under gone raditation therapy. At the beginning of 2013 she then began complaining of odd pains in her back and lower pelvis area. Because she has always been a very fit and active woman, we all assumed it was just stiffness from being constantly on the move with work and family. After a visit to her oncologsit, he found that my mom had cancer of the bone. It had spread rapidly around the top half of her body, affecting the top of her skull, vertebrae and spine, through her rib cage and all over her pelvis. She immediately began intense radiation therapy for a few months on her oncologist's orders.

One and a half years later, after intense radiation therapy, and almost a year of Chemotherapy treatment, mom started losing her hair and the doctors told her she had lost the use of her limbs from her waist down due to nerve damage. She has done so well thus far in embrasing her new way of life and a new body which is paraplegic (at this present stage of her treatment).
My father, domestic helper and grandmother care for my mother most hours of the day. My father ensures her company continues to operate as well as his own. Because medication, hospitalisation and constant care for my mother has become so expensive, I have decided to use this as my way of helping my parents financially.
I am asking for any donations, no matter how big or small that will assist my father and family with this financial burden. If you choose not to donate, please share this page with as many friends, family members, colleagues and business contacts as you can.
Thank you for your support!
