Loving Lindsey

Lindsey has a rare and life threatening syndrome called Chromosome 15q Duplication Syndrome. Here are just some of the characteristics of her syndrome:

Lindsey's parents have shouldered the medical costs for past 15 years - everything out of pocket. But over the past few years, Lindsey's health has deteriorated and the rising medical bills have meant her family cannot provide the extra therapies or helpful activities which are not covered by insurance. Lindsey's most recent hospital stay costs topped tens of thousands of dollars - even after insurance paid their portion. Donations made will go towards providing additional therapy, alternatives to Lindsey's routine to keep her active, and allow her to experience some fresh air and normalcy.

On a personal note, Lindsey's mom is the most incredible, cool, creative person I know. She cherishes Lindsey, but I don't know if she recognizes what a blessing she is right back to Lindsey; that Lindsey gets to have her as a mom. I am certain that everyone lucky enough to know Michelle has wondered how to help - I certainly have. Michelle did not ask for donations and she did not create this page.
