Myreh Luallen's Medical Fund

On April 17th Myreh who is a ski instructor working at Vail was enjoying the last day of the ski season on the Mountain with friends. No one could possibly imagine the horrible accident that she was going to have that day. Although it is unclear how exactly the accident happened, it is believed that Myreh was ejected from her skis at speed and that she has had a very violent collision with a fence. 

Initially, Myreh was admitted to the Vail Valley Medical center but due to the severity of her injuries, she had to be transferred to the Rocky Mountain Trauma Institute for spinal surgery. 

Myreh's most significant injuries:

-Skull Fractures
-Epidural hematoma
-Broken back L2-L4 
-Spinal fractures
-8 Broken Ribs
-Fractured Scapula
-Fractured Clavicle
-Multiple Facial Fractures
-Facial Lacerations

Not to mention numerous other smaller injuries.

Fortunately, despite the severity of Myreh's spinal injury, her spinal cord remained intact and she has feeling in her feet. It is therefore believed, that Myreh will make a full recovery. However, it is going to be an extremely long and difficult journey.

Myreh really needs all the support that she can get and although she has an amazing network of friends that are going to help her through much of the healing process, she needs all of our financial support to help cover the costs involved with her rehabilitation. This is including the most simple things like food, and rent but also medical bills that aren't covered by her insurance.
