Please help Chance!

Hi Everybody,

My name is Jeff and I am a volunteer at the Gananoque & District Humane Society, and I am trying to help them recover the funds from a recent life saving surgery for a very special cat in their care named Chance.

The spring and Easter season is a time for rebirth and a chance at life. Chance had a severely broken and injured front leg that was beyond repair. Chance also had a massive hole under his arm that was torn all the way to his muscle and his tail was even badly frostbitten when he came to us. 

Many shelters would have had to put down or given up on Chance but the Gananoque & District Humane Society gave Chance a second chance. 

I am trying to help this little shelter that is completely volunteer run to recover the costs of his operation that were $1073.48.

The Gananoque & District Humane Society is totally dependent on donations and fundraisers in order to survive and Chance`s surgery caught the shelter at a difficult time with all of the expectatant moms with kittens being brought to the shelter.

Chance made it through his operation successfully and his foster mom said that the loss of his front leg isn`t slowing him down at all. If you can`t help us with a donation, please share with others you think might be interested in helping us out.

Please help this tiny shelter continue to do good by giving a donation.  Whether the donation is large or small, it helps the shelter to be able to keep its doors open and take care of suffering animals like Chance.

Please note that if you want a receipt for income tax purposes donations made on this site will not be able to receive one.
