Road To A National Title

Growing up in Nevada City California, only fourty-five mins from Tahoe has provided me with the amazing opportunity to become a winter sports athlete. I have been competing in Snowboard Cross since I was 13 and have been climbing the ranks ever since. From early childhood, I have admired the Olympians in snowboard cross from the Tahoe area. My ultimate dream has been to have my name on that eliet list one day and now it is time to put those dreams into reality. Earning a place on the international stage of Snowboard Cross will be a lot of hard work as the US has more World Cup caliber riders than any other nation. After a painful 2012/13 season, I made it a priority to become a stronger, faster, and smarter Athlete I have ever been. By beating some of the top riders in the world head to head, I know that I will have what it takes to earn one of the 4 Olympic spots for the year of 2018.There are 8 World Cup competitions a year that will be held all around the world. The results from the first 5 races of the 2018 season will determine the top 4 Americans who will represent the USA at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Korea. Training for and competing in all of the races in the next few years will ring up quite a hefty bill. I would like to focus on this year right now. My coach and I have estimated the costs to be around $20,000 for the upcoming season. This includes: Program and coaching fees, travel, Lodging, and equipment expenses. With the upcoming season being the most expensive one I've had yet, I am reaching out to friends, family, and acquaintances I've met along the way for help with funding. My amazing parents have been so generous to help me through the years with chasing my competitive ambitions while earning a college education. However, after 7 years of national competition, the funds have been depleted. This summer I am getting in the best shape of my life in preparation for the upcoming season. A weekly regimen of Manic Training, a local endurance and cross training gym, is making me agile, quick, and strong. Dirtbiking is my new favorite form of cross training and I ride as much as possible. I work two jobs and saving every penny I earn to help reach my goals. No donation is too small and words can't describe the gratitude I have for your generosity in helping me on my way to the 2018 US Olympic Team. Please share this with your family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, and help me network with companies and organizations that might be interested in helping me with my Olympic Quest! Thank you everyone for all the support! I would like to mention one last thing. Although the 2018 Olympics is still fours year from now, the money I am trying to fund for is this year. I have a great gut feeling that I am going to do fantastic this year which will lead to sponsorships that will help me pay for the following years to come. I have no sponsorships right now which means its all out of my pocket! Please help me out!
Thank you so much!
