Noah Gershon's Eagle Project

Donation protected
My name is Noah Gershon and I am a Life Scout with Troop 1210 in Rancho Santa Margarita California and I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Service Project benefiting the Rincon Environmental Educational Center in the Angeles National Forest. This facility is used by the San Gabriel Mountain Trail Builders, a non profit organization, to introduce inner city kids to nature and the great outdoors.
My project will be the removal of 40' of old unsafe fencing (pictured behind me in the photo), and the design and construction of new, solid wood fencing, as well as an additional 66' of new fencing, all of it protecting a 4' drop off.
I am planning to complete this project with help of my Troop in two days. We will be camping on site so it can be done in one weekend. I am estimating that this will take approximately 500 man hours to complete and because it is an Eagle Project, I am resposible for raising all the funds to complete this project, including lumber, hardware, safety gear and food. The San Gabriel Mountain Trail Builders have graciously offered the use of their power tools.
I am hoping to raise $3,000. to cover these costs and any funds left over will be donated to the San Gabriel Mountain Trail Builders.
Any donations are GREATLY appreciated and I will be posting a photo journal of the work being done and the completed project.
Thank you for your support!
