Support the 7 Soul Seeds Book Drive to Assist Moms & Children in Shelters. Love Empowerment Team (L.E.T.) started this mission in February 2012 to provide 7 Soul Seeds books and financial assistance to the participating shelters.
The hope is that shelters will provide safe, day care facilities for moms to leave their children while they are on their search for work and housing.
Hi, I'm Jacqueline JLove Jackson and I am the founder of the 7 Soul Seeds Book Drive to Assist Moms & Children in Shelters and author of 7 Soul Seeds. The intention of the book is to help women from all walks of life believe in and empower themselves to reach for and accomplish their goals and dreams with commitment, purpose and self-care.
The book and the campaign were both inspired by women who are re-inventing their lives and starting over. Many of these women are being assisted by shelters across the nation.
The 7 Soul Seeds Book Drive to Assist Moms & Children in Shelters campaign is important to me because I have faced homelessness and found myself at the mercy of some great souls. I visited a shelter for women and was touched by the many ways their staff and programs help women live sustainable and productive lives after they are out on their own again.
Because of the help of some friends, I did not end up living in a shelter. However, I will never forget the experience of visiting and seeing with my own eyes that some women's shelters offer much more than a bed, shower and meals. They are a safe haven with caring staff who give women the opportunity to start over and take control of their lives.
In my book, the 7 Soul Seeds include:
-Self Awareness
-Self Love
-Wealth Consciousness
-Vibrant Food
-Effective Exercise
-Sacred Space/Quiet Mind, and
-Creativity.
The book, 7 Soul Seeds, has an empowering message for women and it is my dream to give copies of the book to as many women's shelters as possible as a complement to what they already offer. I thank all contributors for helping me and L.E.T. get closer to this dream.
