Marc's surgery went well. The feeding tube is in place and his appendix was removed successfully. His appendix was inflamed but benign. Thank you for all of your prayers!

Marc is the father of six and husband of one, but friend to hundreds, if not thousands. He was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Unfortunately, Marc and Cyndi have no health insurance and are in need of any help we can give. Please be generous in giving as they need all of our help. Thank you.

Marc, Cyndi and Family - When a situation arises and we ask why? REMEMBER that GOD is in control and He has a purpose for each of you. The strength comes from the Lord and may you have all that you need. It is a testimony of your love and trust in God watching you. We love you and always here for you!

Life isnt fair. With life comes purpose, and it is the goal of most people to find their purpose on this earth. Good things happen to good people and that is perhaps the most puzzling question we deal with. However, faith tells us that everything happens for a reason even if that reason isnt clear. That is the beauty of life, uncertainty and the what ifs. It is up to each individual to figure out why events play out as they do and to understand their purpose and role in life. In my mind, a perfect example of this unfairness is the hand dealt to my Dad in the form of this recent esophageal cancer diagnosis. In addition to the struggle that comes with any cancer, the timing of this diagnosis is such that we do not have health insurance yet due to a recent job change. Now why would God give such a fight to someone? My Dad has never been a greedy man, never asked for anything from anyone, and strives day in and day out to provide for his six children and wife, providing food, shelter, clothes, toys, life lessons, and the ability and atmosphere to pursue a successful future. Many people arent blessed with these amenities, and we as a family are lucky. From the day I was born, a sense of hard work, determination, and a sense of drive was instilled in me. While at times it may not seem fun or pleasant to go through these motions as a kid, I am a better man because of it. Yes, I am a man because of him. Without my Dads teachings I cannot say that I would be attending a well renowned University planning to graduate in Mechanical Engineering, have had multiple professional internships, and am a self-sufficient member of society. There are many paths that I could have taken, and many possible outcomes of my character, but my Dad was and always is there to assure I make the right decisions and follow the correct path. He is constantly a teacher, motivator, supporter, and friend. I know that this situation we are now dealing with is yet another life lesson to teach our family, friends, and even my Dad this time. God knows that he is one of the strongest and most courageous people that I know and that is why he was chosen to for this fight. This fight will serve to bring us as family, friends, and even strangers together, to stand up together. We will learn what it means to have true faith, what it means to be there for each other and will serve to strengthen the bonds between us all. So I ask you, will you stand with us? Will you donate a few moments of time for a prayer, a kind thought, to share the word, or help in a way you see fit. So many of you have already joined us, and we are so thankful for everyone and their support! It is time to give back to the man who has given so much for others. This fight is still raging and God is recruiting, so ask yourself; if God is for us, who can be against us.? Stand, fight, we will winas an army of Gods soldiers. What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Romans 8:31-34
