We are not an organization; we are a family. We have been following the controversial D.A.N (Defeat Autism now) protocol for several years now with great success. Our family worked together to carry the heavy financial burden this treatment method entails. D.A.N Drs. understand that this new epidemic of autism is not what it appears to be. These kids are suffering from a toxic overload that is devastating their digestive and immune systems resulting in neurological problems. When we try to get mainstream Drs. to address the real medical conditions our daughter faces, we are either told, well that's autism or when they do address the problem and offer help like anti-fungal or antiviral drugs, only the generic versions are available and my child is allergic to them. We hit wall after wall within the system.
The reality of the new autism epidemic is not understood, so the solutions are just not available through conventional channels. We had a tragedy in our family last year and the financial support we were dependant upon vanished. Without the treatments, our daughter began to regress. Within a few months, she began to loose language. She tried to tell me that her mouth was going numb, " mouth boo boo, ouch", then after a few more week's we could no longer understand her. This is only one symptom; I could go on and on.
Our daughter needs: Anti-fungal, bacterial and viral drugs and probiotics on a regular basis as her immune system is decimated and she can not protect herself from invading pathogens. She needs M-B12 shots and antioxidant creams and heavy vitamin therapies in order to have the nerve function to speak. She needs Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to get enough oxygen to her brain through blockages of heavy metals and other toxins. Constant detox therapies to clean her body and make it strong enough to heal itself. She needs low dose antigen shots to address her 100+ food and environmental allergies. This amounts to over $1,000 a month in expenses for which we can get no support within the existing systems.
Autism is considered to be a neurological condition only and the only help offered is behavioral modification therapies. I do not believe that autism can be conditioned away. I have seen these bio-medical therapies work with my own eyes and I am watching my daughter suffer without them.

We have tried every official avenue and now except that we are on our own to accomplish this monumental task of reversing autism. You have been told this is not possible. That is not true. You have been told that autism is a genetic disorder. This is also not true. A genetic condition can not increase from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 52 in 10 years. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GENETIC EPIDEMIC. This is a public health crisis. 1 in 5 children in this country now have neurological problems of some kind. Children are not getting the care they need, the real issues are not being addressed and politics are preventing the conversation from moving in the right direction.
This is not just about my child, our future is at stake. There is an environmental issue. If the statistics of chronic childhood illnesses continue to rise at this rate, within one generation there will not be a child born without some kind of problem. The media is not directing your attention to this, but if you look for yourself, the evidence is undeniable.
Our goals are to help our little girl recover, raise awareness and understanding of this public health crisis and to hopefully help other families along the way.
