Hello, family and friends. I have put this page together to ask for assistance
to help out with medical bills and future medical costs for my 16 year old
daughter Victoria. She was diagnosed
with End Stage Renal Disease just this past December of 2012. I will not lie this news took my family and I
by surprise. Despite her medical condition Victoria has kept a positive
attitude and is looking forward to the day of her receiving a new kidney. Victoria
is a vibrant, beautiful and intelligent young lady who has a dream to go to
college and become a Chemist. She loves
to ballroom dance and choreographs dances for her family and friends. I would like to take this time to share with
all of you that Victoria as of September 18, 2013 has been listed on the UNC
Kidney Transplant waiting list with UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing). Victoria
became speechless as she read the letter saying that she is finally on the
kidney transplant list. It brought tears to all of our eyes to hear the GREAT
news and to see her face light up with joy. We would like to get her listed at the Charlotte
Transplant Center as well. To do this, it will require us to get more tests done
and we would need to travel there as needed to keep her medical status updated.
By doing this, we can get her listed on
both Transplant Centers which will result in shortening the waiting time to receive
a transplant. We received a letter from
the insurance company letting us know that the transplant surgery is fully
covered since we have met the max out of pocket expense of $6,000 this year. PLEASE, we ask of you, donate whatever you
can! Every dollar is golden and is greatly
appreciated! We thank you from the
bottom of our hearts for whatever you feel you can do to help Victoria make her
dream come true! We would like to thank
