Miss CA Teen USA - Santa Clarita Valley

Hi, I'm Madi Summers, and I'm competing for the title of Miss California Teen USA. People who know me would describe me as nothing less than absolutely all-American. I'm a 17 year old girl from a family of 4, with an older brother and two endlessly-supporting parents. I'm in love with the arts, I sing and dance and play a little ukulele on the side, just for fun. I've been stage acting since I was 9, I have eight years of classical ballet under my belt, and I can't really think of a place I'd rather be than on the stage. Despite my onstage passion, I'm also fascinated by psychology, and hope to pursue that fascination at San Francisco State University in the Fall of 2014. I'm a born and raised Santa Clarita Valley girl, and I held the title of Miss Teen Santa Clarita from 2012 to 2013. That year gave me a chance to volunteer for dozens of charities, and let me meet so many inspiring individuals who have really shaped me for the better. The experience was not only a great opportunity to meet the wonderful people in my community and get the pageant experience, but a great opportunity to learn about myself. I really grew up as a person as Miss Teen SCV, and I came out with the drive to do bigger and better things, reach out to my community in ways I hadn't been able to before, reach further to accomplish my dreams, and help others see - and accomplish - their own.


Winning a title in the Miss California Teen USA pageant would give me the opportunity to work with my state and so many of the charitable organizations I believe in, but I can't do it alone.
