Make Your Mark on Jane Addams School!

The excitement for this project has been building all year. We started planning and working on the design for the mural with the artists from the Green Star Movement in the fall. Parents, teachers, administration and students worked together to brainstorm ideas to represent our school in the design of the mural. In the winter the artists from Green Star created a design based on input from everyone. Students voted on this quote to be featured on the mural:
"We stand today united in a belief in beauty, genius and courage, and that these can transform the world."-Jane Addams "‹.
I think this is a beautiful quote that will inspire many people!

We have had amazing support from everyone. It has been an awesome week working with the students and artists from the Green Star Movement on the mural! Please join us May 17th from 12-2:00 to see our progress and help out with the installation!
