Donations Raised in Remembrance of Owen

Donation protected
Donations Raised in Remembrance of Owen Carlock are being donated in Owen's name to the Johnny Mac Foundation, The Friends of Firefighters Organization and The New York Presbyterian Burn Center which partners with NYC Firefighters. Owen was a New York City Firefighter for 24 years and a 9/11 first responder and survivor. He was a part of Ladder 122 and Engine 220 in Park Slope Brooklyn for over 20 years, and was also a part of Rescue 5 on Staten Island for a period of time. He loved his job and all of his fellow firefighters. He lived with many 9/11 related health issues before his untimely passing on May 23rd. 2012. Owen was a hero to us and many others. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. His family wants his legacy and beliefs to live on with the help of others, through donating to these foundations in his name. Owen always gave the shirt off of his back and gave so much of himself to all, and would still be doing that today. He was an honorable man and a hero. We want to honor him by raising this money and donating it to foundations he believed in and thought deserved. We have already raised some funds towards the foundations by selling his tee shirts and would like to reach another 3,000 dollars and split the total between the 3 foundations. Thank you for all of those who donated by purchasing his tee shirts. Just like we want to keep his memory alive, we want to keep the memories of those lost in 9/11 alive as well. We think he would be honored and proud. Thank you in advance!!! - The Carlock Clan
