Sampson is an extraordinarily beautiful boy with gorgeous eyes and a winning smile. He absolutely loves people and so wants a person to call his own. He is very smart and eager to bond and please.

However, Sampson arrived in rescue with Class 2-3 Heartworm Disease, and has begun treatment. We are trying to raise $800. to cover the cost of the HW treatment and additional expenses. A breakdown of this estimate is available upon request.

McWag Rescue has had extraordinary veterinarian costs this year with several new rescues requiring emergency surgery and extensive medical care. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors and friends, we were successful in reaching our previous goals but we had underestimated previous costs and had some unexpected additional expenses. When we found out Sampson, who we had previously made a commitment to rescue had HW's, we made him a heart promise to find a way to provide him with the treatment he needed.
