Please can you just take 2 minutes to read about a special person....
Emma , some of you may already know or have heard of as she has become something of a celebrity for lots of reasons.Emma is 17 and has been battling cancer since she was diagnosed at the age of 12 with bone cancer in her leg.After diagnosis she had the bone and massive tumour removed and replaced with a titanium bone and then started a very intense course of chemotherapy which didn't work for her.
Over the last 5 years Emma has relapsed 6 times and had 18 operations to biopsy and remove tumours, including the other leg, numerous lung and rib tumours.
At the back end of last year Emma and her family were told that the cancer had returned for the 7th time and had tumours in both lungs, unfortunately this time surgery wasn't an option as one of the tumours was growing out of the lung.
The doctors advised her to try a course of chemo again and even thou it did more harm than good last time and didn't work Emma didn't think twice about it and went into it with the same fighting spirit she has with the others.
Unfortunatley a couple of weeks ago Emma and her family received the heart breaking news that they were going to stop her treatment as it was not working.
They told Emma that all they could do no was to try to manage her pain until "the end".......
Emma is such a beautiful girl surrounded with so much love, she has decided that rather than sitting at home spending all her time crying and being consumed by anger at her situation she wants to live her life and make beautiful memories.
This is why I have made the decision with Emma's permission to set up this page to try and get donations or for people to take on a challenge and raise money for her to be able to tick somethings off her bucket list. Emma has thought of some things she would love to do and they are:
Centre Parks break with her gorgeous Nala.
Massive shopping trip to buy Michael Kors handbag & purse maybe in Paris ....
Mac makeup & makeover.
Diamond earrings.
London stay & to see Lion King whilst there.
Bling adidas adidas superstars.
Big big big ones;
Go to Florida to kiss the dolphins
To get married and to have matching sparkly onesies to chill in at the reception .
This is Emma's list and I'm sure she may well think of something else .

I am Lisa from Manchester and I met Emma at the start of her journey on Ward 84 whilst my son was at the beginning of his journey with cancer.
The funds will be spent on Emma's Bucket list as listed above and the money will be spent towards making as many of her wishes come true. I am very good friends with the family and think of them as our family. I decided to do this page because I felt helpless and didn't want to keep asking what can I do as they were and are being in undated with messages, so I thought I would do this and people could leave messages and help me with her wishes. I didn't think it would take off like this, but I am so happy it did because now she can do everything we listed and a whole lot more.
