Wrestling Camp Scholarship Fund

Donation protected
Wrestling is the world's oldest and greatest sport. Plato wrestled. Wrestling has been a part of the lives of eleven presidents, two Nobel peace laureates, Medal of Honor winners, captains of industry, astronauts and probably at least one of your kids' teachers.

It is perhaps the world's most inclusive sport. Size does not matter and the Olympics has separate divisions for men and women. Two amputees and a deaf wrestler have won NCAA championships. Blind wrestlers have won high school state championships.

As funds get cut from middle school budgets young people are losing opportunities to learn wrestling's lessons. Others have taken up the sport but their families lack the financial resources to avail themselves of youth wrestling clubs and camps. All funds will be used to provide camp scholarships to needy middle school wrestlers. We have an immediate need for 4 scholarships to a camp at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA ($200 total) on September 28th and 6 for one at Wartburg College in Waverly, IA on October 5th and 6th ($480 total). However this will be an ongoing effort available to any kid in the US for any camp.
