Hello, my name is Drew. As some of you know I have dug myself quite a hole in my past. Over the last five years i have been trying to dig myself out. At this point I am almost able to grasp the top which is why I have made this fundraiser via Gofundme.com.
Currently I am working full-time in the beautiful city of portland which has been treating me very well for the last 5 months since i moved here. And I have been doing so much better for myself than I have in the past, unfortunately even though I am currently working a full-time job, my living situation has not allowed me to save much money to progress my future due to how much I am required to pay for rent.
Right now I am in the process of getting my own apartment which will allow me to save more so i can; Get my Cosmetology license transffered from california to oregon, get my drivers license back, Provide better transportation for myself (currently skating to and from work), have food, and so on. Unfortunatley I broke my arm a couple of months ago, and the medical bills that i had to pay took all the money i had saved up and then some.
On a good note I have been approved for my very first apartment!! But since i have no money saved at the moment I have no idea how I am going to be able to afford the $900.00 deposit. Now if there is one thing that I have learned in life, is that " It never hurts to ask for help, but if you dont ask for help, you're most likely not going any."
This is why I am asking for help now. Any and ALL donations are strictly going to be put twards my apartment, I only have a few weeks before I have to move out the apartment I am currently living in, so I am kind of on a time crunch. Any donations exceeding the amount I need for my apartment will be put into getting my license transferred to Oregon and other things I need to help get me back on my feet. I am extreemly gratefull to anybody who has the kindness in their heart to help me out. And even if you can't or you don't, I am still gratefull to have people who care.
If you can help, please do so, even if it is something small. EVERY PENNY COUNTS.
Thank you so much! ~DrewI am so close to the top, i can almost smell the fresh air.
