PCs for Iraq War Family Refugees

The attached photo was taken August 19th 2013 and shows a carload of rebuilt computers on its way to Iraqi War Family Refugees living in Lowell, MA.
My favorite hobby is rebuilding desktop computers. In our throwaway society what a shame to fill landfills with discarded computers! I found a wonderful alternative. Three or four years ago I started giving away desktop PCs FREE to whoever wanted one. This started with family, friends, and senior citizens where I work but quickly lead to Iraqi War Family Refugees who desperately NEED and APPRECIATE computers.
Through a church announcement, I learned that a large community of Iraqi War Family Refugees are living nearby in Lowell, MA. Actually, we have new families arriving all the time. Their lives have been shattered. They desperately need PCs to keep in touch with relatives back home by email, skype, webcam, etc. Its the only way they can communicate with friends and family back home over The Internet. Computers also help with the transition to life in America; job applications, how to learn English, DVDs, Green Cards, etc. And many of the families have teenagers in the school system here in American who need PCs for homework, Justin Beiber, social networking, etc. I upgrade and repair PCs which are given away FREE to these Iraqi Families. It is a great pleasure to support grateful, productive people. PCs help them get their lives back together and become new Americans. It's wonderful.
How did the Iraqi Families get here? Well, these are the people who helped our armed forces in Iraq, putting themselves at risk, and ended up on a enemy lists. They frequently have to drop everything and flee for their lives! Otherwise they would be murdered. It is a new beginning in America, whole families moved to Lowell, MA. Not just Lowell, MA either. It's happening all over America!
The upgraded and repaired PCs consist of tower, keyboard, mouse, speakers, flat screen monitor, printers, and scanners. Money is used to buy parts, pay for shipments, and buy gasoline for home pickups and delivery. Please help this peaceful humanitarian effort as you are able. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!
