The "Amplify the Whispers" Tour

Venango County based rock band Constant distraction is pleased to announce we will be rocking for a cause this summer. As we prepare for our summer Amplify the Whispers Tour (Taste of Talent, Rocky Grove Fair, Music on the Square, The Cranberry Fireworks Festival) we are going to set out a donation jar to assist with a fundraising campaign for Family Service & Children's Aid Society of Venango County. Domestic abuse victims are often times the most lost and helpless following an incident or string of incidents. This community has gone to hell with more new occurrences of domestic abuse by the day. The victims often times have nowhere to go and leave with only their children and what they can carry, while literally running for their lives. Domestic abuse has become a plague on our general society. This organization works to prevent violence, protect victims and advocate for change in attitudes about victimization by providing prevention education programs, supportive services and by promoting social change in the community. We will be starting up a "Go Fund Me page" by the band and aim to raise money through it, our shows and any money won through the taste of talent competition will be donated to the cause as well.  As role models we owe it to this town to do everything we can to take a stand. Together we can help make a better tomorrow for our children.
