Ian's Race Against Cancer
Donation protected
Always be kind. Always be brave. This is something I have always been told by my Mom and Dad, who are both very kind, brave and helpful to those in need in our community. Not long after my Pop (grandfather) was diagnosed with melanoma cancer last year, my Mom found a quote he had written down on a piece of paper - "Whatever path in life you choose, you must achieve. No matter what path in life you choose, you must give back." I have chosen to race in Kid Triathlons in August (Austin, Houston) and October (Houston) as well as a Kids Marathon (Bryan-College Station) in December, raising funds to donate to the American Cancer Society. I am racing and raising funds in memory of Pop, who died in April of this year, and in honor of my Mom, who was so brave when he was sick and passed away. I hope the money I raise will help find a cure for cancer. I hope the money I raise will inspire others to be brave. --- Ian Teitelbaum
