A Single Mom's College Fund

I am a single mother to a smart and beautiful little girl. I do not receive child support from her father and have raised her on my own with the help of my amazing family. My dream is to have a career that I can be proud of and earn enough money to one day be able to afford a place of our own and show my daughter that with determination you can do anything. So I am going back to school for Echocardiography. I am very excited about this but unfortunately there aren't any grants out there for single moms (contrary to what we all see posted as advertisements). Because of this, and the fact that I have almost reached my max on both subsidized and unsubsidized undergrad loans, I have hit a road block. As much as it may hurt my pride to have to ask for help...I am putting myself out there and asking. I want to make a change and give my special little girl the life and future she deserves...and to be a role model for her. Every little bit helps and is appreciated. Thank you :)
