Update 8/8/2013 from Jaime:

Thank you everyone so much for everything! The money of course is such a blanket of security, being able to KNOW that if I am having a terrible , unbearable day or have important appointments that Ted needs to be with me for we can have him stay HOME and not have the niggle of stress of "Crap, such n such bill is coming due he needs to go in"

Putting the generosity of monetary gifts aside, this project Deb undertook with Tim & Teri & now SO MANY people has been an amazing chapter to end my life on. Obviously I have spent more & more time reflecting on what my time on earth meant, why I was here, what did I leave and was it good enough. This FB page has answered some of that for me. I may have been the reason they started it, but it has eclipsed me and I do believe started all sorts of good thoughts & good actions in who it touches. I cherish the messages you send me. When I hear how it affects you emotionally I hope it also inspires reflection in your life and your actions. And that spreads, and spreads.

Jaime is a Graduate of Lakeview High School Class of 1993. She has two daughters Kala who is 8 and Suzanne who is 6. She played the violin in school!

Why donate? This money will go to help catch up on her bills, and also allow her husband to be there for her daughter and her family when she passes and give them a little bit of relief. Any additional funds will go to the girls trust fund which Jaime has set up for both of them.

Jaime's Story: Once again, thank you all for this support. This website has been a mainstay in my life after I was diagnosed with ACC in 1999. I have been fortunate to have some great doctors & nurses, family, & friends by my side over the years of different surgeries, treatments, and opinions. July 2, 2013 was the day I realized that the cancer is just stronger than my body can fight. This has been a busy month of planning, deep thoughts, worry, joy, and so many intense feelings I don't know if I could ever fully describe them to do them justice. I have personally been able to reach a state of peace somewhat with what the near future holds for me. As for being at peace with what I leave behind, I am still in anguish. The support that this FB page is revealing to me is bringing a measure of comfort to those thoughts. To be able to go and know that Ted can take time to grieve as both a husband, lover, & best friend .To know he will be able to be with our beautiful children fully during this time, devoting time to healing and rebuilding the family. This gives me joy and I thank everyone one of you
