Alissa is one of the kindest and most beautiful people in the world. She is really quirky, fun, and so caring of her friends and family. She always puts her loved ones first and works her tail off in everything she does. Her positivity is truly contagious and she has been such a joy to have in our lives.
Alissa has been fighting Multiple Sclerosis for quite some time now. She has been courageous and has fought some of the toughest battles that anyone can experience. Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another.
Recently, due to some unfortunate events, Alissa has been unable to afford her the treatment for to fight against Multiple Sclerosis - or what she calls "fighting the brainworms". The treatment will cost her $600.00 and we want to be able to raise that for her so she can afford the it. With medicine and possibility of the month after, we're looking at $1,000.
Even if you can donate $1.00 - You will be putting it towards a very good cause and will help Alissa afford her treatment. Although Alissa is a fighter, we want to help her fight the brainworms together.
