Signature Salon Flood Relief Fund

Last Thursday, August 27th, 2015 a thunderstorm rolled through Sioux Falls, SD. In less than an hour this torrential downpour unloaded 7-8 inches in parts of Sioux Falls. Signature Salon happened to be located right in the midst of that storm.
Despite the efforts and swift reactions by the owners and independent stylists to prevent water from entering the salon; the heavy rains poured in. The garden windows and door to the basement entrance gave-way and the waters came flooding into the lower level of the salon. Within a matter of minutes, the water rose to approximately 8 feet high.
At the creation of this GoFundMe account the salon is being evaluated by insurance adjusters, contractors, engineers, city officials, attorneys etc... to determine the extent of damage.
Signature Salon has been in business for over 15 years and at this location for 10 years. Over 30 independent stylists, massage and spa specialists have been voted Sioux Falls Local Best 5 years in a row. We have served much of Sioux Falls through our years in business.
Our intention with setting up this fund is to help get our independent stylists and the salon back on their feet. We need your help. With mounting costs and losses we appreciate any assistance you can provide.
