Welcome to the funding initiative of Framed?, a collaborative exhibition to be staged by the students of CATC Photo Imaging and to be held at Bleeding Heart Galley, 166 Ann Street Brisbane from the 30th August until the 5th September 2013.


As part of our course we have been "framed" into organizing our very first collaborative photographic and fine art exhibition, featuring our own works, developed and created during this semester.


As a group we wanted our first exhibition to make a difference to the community and have decided that all profits from the exhibition will be donated to the following charities.

- BAM Espresso - a local private initiate that raises funds for the homeless in Brisbane through the sale of excellent coffee in Fortitude Valley.


- Beyond Blue - Australian organisation provides information about depression to consumers, carers and health professionals.


- Mater Miracles - Making little miracles happen for Queensland babies and children.


- Cathy Freeman Foundation - The Cathy Freeman Foundation was established by Olympic champion, Cathy Freeman, to give Australian Indigenous children a brighter future through education.

- QAHC - Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of Queensland LGBT community. A not-for-profit, community based organisation, funded by government grants and community fundraising, donations and sponsorships

- DSAQ - The mission of DSAQ is to build community awareness and to support, advocate and empower people with Down syndrome in order for them to take their rightful place as valuable and contributing members of their local and global communities.


Make a Wish - grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy


Brisbane Homelessness Service Centre - provides essential services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in Brisbane.


Your donations and support will help to ensure that Framed? is successful and that we raise as much money as we can for our charities, and that we have a great event for all involved.
