Disabled trying to live normally!

Donation protected
Who am I:

I'm a 45 yr old(Now 47) who has been struck with several medical issues usully found in people much older.

My kidneys failed in May of 2013 (although they were on the way before that, and I had been fighting for disability since 2011). This happened in part beccause I'm a Diabetic. The Doctors have flipflopped on me from time to time, and I've been told I'm Type 1 at times, and Type 2 at others, but as I understand it, I'm actually a type 2 diabetic, but with Type 1 severity at times.

In addition to the End Stage Renal Failure (Kidney Disease) I also suffer from a Heart Murmur, an Enlarged and Weaker than normal heart, Psoriasis, Sleep Apnea, and total neuropathy in My feet. Because of the Neuropathy, and the Diabetes, I have no toes on My left foot, as well as having lost the row of bones right behind the toes, and I have no big toe on the right foot. I also, because of the neuropathy, suffer from chronic sores on my feet, that are often prone to infection. In addition, I suffer from severe back and neck pain (partly from dealing with having to walk with the feet problems) and I had a heart attack on the 4th of July, 2016 where my heart stopped twice and I was unconscious for 3 days.

Those who know me know I've been in and out of the hospital a lot in recent months (but no unplanned hospital stays since the Heart Attack in 2016, Knock on wood), and I have been struggling to just be able to do some semi-normal things, such as grocery shopping, and just being able to go out and leave the house for any reason.

Why I'm in Need:

UPDATE:NEW UPDATE:

As of 2013 when I started this campaign, I have raised a total of 900.00 and those  funds have gone to various personal and medical needs. Early funds went to simply living as I did not get my disability approved for over 6 months even though renal failure was supposed to guarantee me disability in 90 days. Other expenses that money went for includes transportation to and from various appointments (again, it took awhile for medical transport to be approved, and some appointments still aren't covered), an Air Conditioner to survive the heat, and such.
Currently, I am in a fairly good place. I'm still trying to survive on only $825.00 per month Disability, and $15.00 per month in Food Stamps, so it is no cake walk, but I've managed to stay out of the hospital for the most part, especially since my heart attack.

I am getting out to Karaoke about once a week fairly regularly with a few exceptions...but I'm also being hit by severe chronic fatigue of late, so I still skip weeks at a time. I'm also getting out to Boardgame night once a week mostly, and playtest night once a week, so I'm not completely home-bound, which is a plus.

Our trailer that I'm currently living in with my Girlfriend and her 12 yr old son is not very handicap accessable, and there isn't much to do to make it that way right now so I'm not asking for funds to fix that either. We do want to move into a bigger place that can be made  more handicap acceptable by the end of 2018, or if not then, 2019 at least (if I live that long, LOL).

I mainly only ask for funds now when I share updates if a current emergency is hitting me aside from my general lack of overall funds. I even managed to dedicate my campaign to my birthday in march (no donations  came in, but no emergencies either, so good with the bad I guess). I guess my main overarching update and funding goal now is to get sufficient funds to facilitate moving into a bigger, more handicapable location with my GF and her son. Other than that, I would like to get my Driver's Licene renewed (I was totally blind for almost 2 yrs with detached retinas) and get a 2nd vehicle to make things easier for us in managing appointments when medical transport won't approve some of my rides.

This being said, I'm resetting the goal of the campaign to $6,000.00 (that's just over $5,000 more than has already been garnered, since it doesn't reset to 0 when I make a change) as that should be sufficient to help us make plans to move and maybe make a down payment on a place we can convert for ease of access. Remember also that GoFundMe takes a small portion of funds donated (something in the neighborhood of 8%)

There is no rush or emergency going on right now, and as the goal is to move out hopefully by November of 2018, earliest, or barring that, November of 2019, I won't be heavily campaigning for funds unless an emergency unforeseen comes up.

I will continue to send out periodic updates as I did before, but hope not to have to update the main campaign like this again (Update  4-5-2018)

Thank everyone in advance for looking at my campaign and your positive thoughs and well wishes are appreciated. If you can't contribute to this campaign, and let's face it, times are tough for everyone, please share the campaign to your feeds, who knows, the 6,000 is alot of money for me and many of you, but someone out there might be able to help, and good deeds get paid forward I truly believe.
