A Guardian Angell for Gabriell

My 4 year old son Gabriell has some significant developmental delays and behavior issues related to abuse and neglect he suffered before he came to be a part of my family. He has autistic like tendencies, but has yet to be diagnosed. Our biggest issue to date is bolting. Combine this with no concept of fear or danger and the situation becomes very scary. My hope is to raise enough money to get him a service dog that would be tethered to him and prevent this. The dog would also be trained to locate him if he were to get away when he was not tethered to the dog. The dog would also be trained to interrupt stemming and comfort him when he has a meltdown. My son also has separation anxiety at times, this dog would be a constant companion and help to relieve this anxiety. This dog, who we intend to name "Wags" could very well save his life. As a parent I know that no cost is too great for the safety of your child, but that sometimes you need help. That is why I am here, I need help.
