To educate our school and community in the importance of new and eco friendly technology and to represent our sponsors and partnering organizations in the best way that we can.
Description
This is our first year to compete in the Solar Car Challenge. We are currently looking for sponsors for the upcoming year. Bullard High School Solar Car Team has come a long way in under one year but now it's time to push to the finish with your help! We were told we are crazy trying to build a very competitive car and then race across country in less than a year but we are very close! We only need $7,000 more to raise to make this life changing event possible which has received us multiple college opportunities because of this amazing project. We are the first team ever to have a patent on the vechicle's technology. In less than ten months we have recieved $85,000 from companies and personal donations. That usually takes teams years to raise! Unfortuanlly we had unexpected expensses like ECCO lights for the trailer (required by race officials). Insurance was a lot more than expected but now we are only $7,000 away from being able to race our goal is actually $12,000 for extra tires and parts for the car!! Please spread the words to your family and friends to donate! If every one of our facebook followers donated, they would only need to donate $18 a piece!
