Let's Continue Queer Embraces

Just the other day I found out that as of July 1st, I'm going to be receiving a 50% pay cut at work. Unfortunately I'm in the midst of several months of travel for a book called "Queer Embraces," which examines my own personal experiences in the context of observations on home, what it means to belong, and how we can navigate inherently queer desires. Because of my travels, I'm unable to look for new employment while traveling and need to raise additional money to avoid cutting my trip short and losing out on valuable insights in visiting new places.
In just the 36 days I've been on my trip, I've written well over 5000 words and have made significant progress in terms of figuring out how I want to organize my manuscript. As I will be mixing poetry, prose, and some nonfiction/theory writing, I've been struggling with how exactly I need to organize my ideas. Thankfully developments are being made and I feel very confident that within the next few weeks I'll finalize a plan for how I want to organize everything.
I am asking for $750 to help offset some costs of the work I will miss out on. This will help cover some transportation costs (subway/bus fares) and other transit between cities, meals, and explorations to various sights. This is the bare minimum, so any additional amount raised will ensure that I can continue the trip as long as possible. I would like to be able to spend the month of August in Seattle, Vancouver (Canada), and Portland, so any additional amount raised will be able to extend this trip until the end of August. You'll be able to help me continue having memorable experiences, a particularly notable one being canoeing during sunset through abandoned highways in Seattle.
