Dear family, friends & work colleagues; most of you are aware that Sean and myself will be travelling to Tanzania in September to complete our climb of Kilimanjaro. Many of you have already asked if we are walking for charity or a good cause which we honestly hadn’t planned to do.
However, after reading about Rory’s Journey of Hope on Facebook (a local lad and friend of both my wife and daughter) I thought we should try and help Rory on his journey while aiming to complete our own. Rory was born 4 months premature and has many resulting complex issues. However his parents have discovered the Family Hope Programme, which offers Rory extremely intensive support and rehabilitation. It costs his parents thousands of pounds every year but the early results are so spectacular, his parents want to continue the programme to give their son the best future possible.
So we would like to invite you all along to help us help Rory. Hopefully together we can all make Rory’s journey that little bit brighter, bring one or two smiles and hopefully some laughter for him along the way.
I would like to confirm that our trip to Kilimanjaro will be 100% funded by both Sean and myself and All monies gifted Will go directly to helping Rory.
