Blue Devils Age-Out

Like any other adult in any situation, I began an activity in which I had no clue of the possibilities. Within my experiences so far, I have earned 3 world class drum corps colorguard titles, 2 gold medals as well as one silver and also a rookie of the year award. On top of that I have earned an independent world class bronze medal and a multitude of bronze, silver and gold medals from performing and teaching groups in the Central Valley. Beyond the tangible items, I have learned the meanings of perseverance, dedication and hard work. While applying all of these into aspects of my life that had not previously been touched by these ideals, I have gone places I would have never experienced otherwise. I have made friendships that I cherish dearly and in some cases, some that I hope to never see disappear. As I go into my final year as a marching member with something I consider a home, a family and a place that I will always remember that took me places I never would have never had the chances to experience, I find myself struggling to keep it a possibility. I have done everything I can possibly think of from working to using school loans to pay off my fees. However, I am still left with 1,250 dollars that I cannot find a solution to, so I am going to my last resort and asking for help from friends and family like you. My passion for this activity, The Blue Devils, is indefinite and can be shown through my willingness to go to world's end to make it possible. It can also be seen through my teaching of a high school group in which I pass down my knowledge of this great activity to.
