Blueberry Picking Farm

I am raising money for a Blueberry farm. My family has run the same farm in Western Connecticut for seven generations. I\'ve just recently moved home to run the farm after the death of my grandparents and am looking to convert it from a cattle farm to a fruit and vegetable farm. My main crop will be blueberries from the DiMeo Farms in New Jersey. I need to purchase approximately 2400 trees along with equipment. As I have two small children and student loan debt, it makes it hard to start up a new venture, but this is a great opportunity for my family and really a great desire for me.
We\'ve grown blueberries for years at this location, with 6 trees that are over 40 years old - but I think we can be a great community business. Over time I plan on making the business more organically based and ever greener. I hope this place will stay here for several more years.
The money collected will go towards plants, netting, tilling equipment.
