Spencer's Handicapped Van, Service Dog,

Spencer is a 17 year old with Cerebral Palsy, He has been in a wheelchair since he was 5 yrs. old As Spencer has grown up and matured over the years so have his needs. These new things he needs are to help him gain more independence for himself. A full sized handicapped van to accommodate his power wheelchair, allowing him to be able to go places and power himself around instead of having to have someone push him. His service dog to help him in getting around and doing things Spencer can't, example open doors for him pick up dropped items he cannot reach, be a companion who is always there for him. Then there is an operation that will help him not to trip over his feet when walking in his walker. Which makes him feel like everyone else. As his family we have always tried to provide him everything he needs. Up till now most of his things we covered. These items are very expensive, and we are put in the position to ask for help. Below you can see two of the things Spencer needs and the cost of those items. We are not asking for the total amount needed. But some help in affording these items. The surgery we do not know the cost yet, but the Doctor is not on our plan and it is an eight hour operation, so you could just imagine the cost.
