Rice For Haiti

A group of 20 volunteers mostly from the North Spartan Baptist Association will be going to Haiti on October 30 for a week's worth of ministry. We want to take money to purchase rice for the people in the area we will be.
Due to a drought, the price of rice has risen to the point that many Haitians are not able to purchase it. The rice is there, they just can't buy it.
Currently rice is selling for $24.00 for a 55 lb bag. Would you buy at least 1 bag? Maybe your co-workers would join you in buying some rice. If you would, and you want to use gofundme to pay for it, I ask that you make the donation $26.00. This will cover the transaction fee as well as the rice. But, WE WILL ACCEPT ANY DONATION AMOUNT!!! It doesn't even have to be enough for a full bag of rice. Every dollar will help.
