Hello my Name is Teagan Marion. I am 17 years old. Teagan is from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Here is my story
I am asking for support from family, friends and community for my chance to attend the Hockey Training Institute in Ontario for the 2015/2016 season.
HTI is a showcase team meaning travelling & tournaments ! We will play in places such as Boston,Detroit,Buffalo,Finlandia,Ottawa,Toronto and many more.
My goal out of this program is not just about playing good hockey during the season. it's about my future as well. Playing with the U20AA HTI Stars brings a lot of exposure to university teams and coaches. My plan is to get to university through hockey. When I complete a season with the Stars I would like to be apart of the NCAA(American) or CIS(Canadian) league.
This will be the start to my Elite hockey career with the HTI stars and would love to finish the season in Ontario.
I'm currently heading into Grade 12 this fall and needing 6 more credits. Once done high school I plan on attending university for nursing. I am the oldest of 3 other hockey players in my family. Already the cost of hockey for my family is pretty expensive.
I would like to send a huge Thank you to all for the support and help. thank you for continuing to support and believe in me ! Any little thing can help me reach my dream to making it to Ontario for the 2015/2016 Hockey Season. The money raised here will go towards the $5000 deposit.
