Dollars for Dorian:Volunteering in India

As a volunteer with the Art of Living Organization I have had the opportunity to help with the vision of a stress-free, violence-free world. Through my work with tutoring, helping homeless youth, and social services I've gained a sense of purpose and appreciation for what it truly means to give back. In continuing that goal, I look to broaden my passion to aid in helping those in need through Woman Empowerment Outreach Project. Empowering women socially and economically in Bangalore, India is my community outreach goal as a volunteer. I am volunteering for a month with the Art of Living Foundation to help nurture the inner strength, creativity, and financial capacity of women from all walks of life. My project areas will include water conservation and protection (cleaning polluted rivers), chemical-free farming, and self-esteem workshops for younger girls.
