I am proud to say that the boy who once was 19 lbs at the age of two (had ZERO safe foods) is now at 33lbs.
Zeq was able to go to Disney world thanks to Make a Wish and is currently a student in a Virginia Beach elementry school .
Here is Zeq's current safe foods.
Potatoes (all varieties)
All green leafy greens
Apples (all types)
Zeq is about to try Deer for the first time and wheat . Since Wheat is a trigger food for the disease Zeq will need to be in a hospital setting in Baltimore ,Maryland to see if he is allergic to wheat .
Unfortunately our insurance does not cover travle expences ,The co-pays and facility fees are financially daunting .
We need $1,390 to be able to bring Zeq back to Baltimore ,Maryland twice this year . Our family's goal is to get Zeq healthy enough to not need his feeding tube anymore . We are very close to our goal of one day not needing a feeding tube .
Thank you for your continued support and especially the prayers .
Hello there Kristine, I would like to participate in Zeq's recovery. My name is Jay and I am related to the Robinsons (Chris & Kathy). So you know, I will spread the word at my work. More donations enroute. Good luck to you and Lil Zeq:)
I am still amazed by Zeq's and his family's courage in battling this disease. Stay strong Zeq and the Caalim family! I challenge others across Virginia to match my donation, and help Zeq in any way that you can. He is a wonderful little boy with a caring family, and they need your help.
