#2MillPencils Drive 2015
Imagine having enough supplies to give each of Wilkinsburg's 2,000 students 200 pencils a year for the next 5 years.
That's the impact of #2MillPencils.
Support the largest pencil drive in Pittsburgh history: Chip in what you can. Funds will be used to purchase supplies (bins, boxes, packing tape, the UHaul, refreshments for volunteers...and PENCILS!)
How It Works:
National Honor Society Chapters, Local Businesses and Universities will serve as Drop Off Sites. Each location will have two bins and a Site Captain who is responsible for supervising the collection of pencils at their location.
Students and community members will donate pencils at their nearest location from September 7th through May 14th, 2016. From May 15th-20th volunteers will deliver the bins from Drop Off Sites to The Wilkinsburg School Administration Building for counting, packing and delivery to Wilkinsburg schools. Actual delivery to schools will occur on May 21st, 2016.
