Funeral Fund for Jaylin M. May (Age 13)

Jaylin Maleik May, a 13-year old student at Washington Middle School in Springfield, Illinois passed away Friday, April 12th, 2013 as a result of hanging himself at his residence.  There is an ongoing investigation into his apparent suicide.  Springfield Public Schools are making a concerted effort to reinforce suicide prevention and expand suicide awareness in the wake of his death.  Jaylin's entire family is shocked and devastated.  His parents (Kimberly and James May pictured here with Jaylin) are wonderful and loving people who are overwhelmed with grief at the untimely and tragic death of their youngest son.  Jaylin was a loveable kid, aspiring musician, and an outstanding student. His last school report card, which remains posted on the family's refrigerator, shows that Jaylin earned an A in every single class he had taken during his 8th grade school year.  Please donate what you can in support of Jaylin's funeral expenses; the family welcomes any and all donations during this very difficult time.  If you are able to donate, please do so as soon as possible, the family is making funeral arrangements for this Friday, April 19th at 10 a.m. at United Church of Christ 400 W. 95th St. Chicago, IL.  And if you can do nothing else, please pray that God gives this family strength in the coming days, weeks, months, and years as they deal with such a loss so great.  And pray that some good may come out of this tragedy.  May God bless you all!
