Mason Case Boone was born on July 18, 2011 at 5pounds 5ounces he faced many obstacles from the moment he took his first breath. Doctors knew from the first moment they saw him he was a bit different; unknowing for sure what the cause was. The day after his birth he was air lifted to Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis Indiana. While under their care he underwent numerous tests, one of which discovered he had an extremely low cholesterol level. After further research and testing he was then diagnosed with Smith-Lemli-Opitz Syndrome.
Mason spent his life in and out of hospitals back and forth to therapy and doctor visits; he had more surgeries in the short time he had on this earth than many will in their entire life.
He was a fighter he gave all he had. He brought so much joy to our lives; his smile lit up the room his laugh and his charisma melted hearts. His memory will live on and the love I have for him will never fade.
SLOs doesnt care how old a person is; it doesnt care the effects it has on ones body or their family, SLOs is horrible and incruable and SLOs took my sweet baby and made him my forever angel.
Sadly On April 1 2013 our lives were changed forever. Mason went to sleep peacefully and never woke to spend another day on this earth.
I am asking for donations for expenses occured with his passing and for a little bit of him to live on. We would like to buy "Oballs" (Masons favorite toy) and donate them on his birthday this year to the hospital where he spent his time as a way to spread a little joy to others in a position similar to his (spending overnights stays in Rileys Hospital) We would like to continue this each year on his birthday alternating what we donate to the hospital to cover the various ages of the children staying there. We would greatly appreciate anything you have to offer.
Each item donated will have a picture of Mason along with alittle note about him and the fight he gave this world.
Please help us to keep Masons memory going by sharing his love with others. Thank you!
Also: If you would like to donate the items we have listed in our "wish list" you are more than welcome to do so! All items MUST be new.
