Sheboygan Safety Town

Sheboygan Service Club hosts Safety Town in partnership with the Sheboygan Recreation Department, Police Department and SASD instructors. Safety Town is a summer program with 4 sessions providing 16 hours of safety awareness for children entering kindergarten. This program is vital to the health and safety of our youth and community. In this week long course, children learn bike safety, stranger danger, poisons education, proper hand washing, pet safety, water safety and many other life saving topics.

This program is also an opportunity for our teenage volunteers to develop leadership and life-saving skills. Our teens provide hands on guidance and support for the children while providing a fun learning environment.

The cost to educate one child is approximately $65.  The program provides children a new fitted bike helmet, snacks, and 5 half-days of training and education, including field trips to the fire station and pool.  It is important to Sheboygan Service Club to keep the program affordable for all families, charging a fee of only $50. Our goal is to ensure each child entering kindergarten has the opportunity to attend Safety Town.

We would be so grateful if you would consider contributing to this important fund.  Every dollar raised will go back to the community of Sheboygan County!  Thank you.

Sheboygan Sevice Club has a proud history rooted in the belief that a group of women can give powerful witness to charity and social justice. Each year nearly 35 women offer nearly 1,750 hours of their time and talents to more than 20 non-profit and community events in Sheboygan county.
