Watching race horses run and the smiling face of jockeys walking at their side soon after, it can be easy to forget the danger involved in the sport of horse racing. Day after day, jockeys risk life and limb to race horses for our enjoyment while receiving little to no recognition. As many of you know, I am involved in the sport of horse racing. I am an owner of multiple horses and on July 22nd something tragic happened during one of my races. Oriana Rossi, jockey at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino, was involved in a three horse spill and sustained multiple fractures to her neck and back. My horse was involved
