Ron Horton for State Senate

2018 is the year we take a Senate Seat and turn it into a Productive Seat. 

After seeing what went on during 2016, it became obvious that both the Republican and Democratic parties are a mess.  That being said I am now an American Independent running in the Democratic primary and an Independent in the General elections.

 

My goals: 

1.      Reign in abusive taxation so Vermonters can stay in their homes without worrying about being forced out by foreclosure. 

2.     Fix the DMV/DOT inspection system.  This is just another tax on Vermonters and creates 6 months of stress for everyone each year!  There are much better systems.

3.     Make it inviting for companies to relocate in Vermont and make it easier for our small businesses to thrive. 

4.     Create a transportation system that will show businesses we are serious in making it the perfect place for them.  This includes the First Ever State Owned Airline that will net in excess of 10 million dollars the first year of operation, create hundreds of jobs statewide, cut our property taxes by 50% and fully fund our schools.  (Closed minded politicians need not apply…)

5.     Create an environment appealing to our kids so they will want to stay. 

6.     Fix the school system so that it is a model for all US schools.

7.     Introduce Mail In Ballots to make it easier to participate in the voting process.

8.     Fight to get the Electoral College out of existence.

 

In order to make this all work I need your support, both financially and physically.  Every donation will go toward the goal of being elected.  Any leftover funds will be donated to Make-A-Wish Vermont.  Physically, I need you to, first, Vote, and second to volunteer at my rallies and parade entries.  If you love a parade please contact me and you can dress up in fun costumes, hand out cards and candy, and smile a lot.  At the rallies I’ll need people to man sign-up lists and to have computers ready to register voters.

 

We will win this race in 2018, and you will be a big part of the New NEK and all of Vermont.
