Hello everyone, I want to take...
Hello everyone, I want to take a moment to update you on the status of my family and of course my cancer treatment. Salem has certainly hit an early growth spurt, she put on 3 pounds or so in her first month...:) We are very blessed that she is so happy and healthy! Giana is becoming the best big sister ever and loving it! Brock, well he has slipped another notch since the arrival of Salem, but we still love him immensely and he is an integral part of our family! My lovely wife Ashley is of course the best mother anyone could ever envision, especially with the circumstances at hand. I would truly be lost without her...
I wish I had as kind of words for my cancer invader...It has managed for the moment to gain the upper hand on me :( I have been going strong on chemotherapy, but my last few rounds were incredibly difficult! And of course somehow I have managed to develop an allergy to my chemotherapy meds!!! My last attempt at chemo earned me a very scary visit to the ER, which surprised everyone, including me. The good news is I survived the ordeal, the bad news is, chemotherapy doesn't look like an option for me anymore.
Please, I am always open to suggestion and love, but we need a lot of prayers right now. Please pray for me and my family as this journey continues to unwind. I can never thank each of you enough for your help, love & support! God bless you all...Jason

Hello to all of my family,...
Hello to all of my family, friends and loving human beings that are on this journey with us. Todays update is filled with news! I apologize for not updating more recently, but our daughter Salem came into the world on April 30th. Small but beautiful, happy & healthy. And wow what a whirl wind since then!
First of all thank you to everyone for your continued love & support. We recently got some good news that my tumor marker test came down 60%. But since then my white blood cell count has been lower than acceptable, hence we have had set backs going into round 6 of chemotherapy, but we are still fighting hard and staying positive. Please know that all of your prayers and love have been very uplifting for me and my family.
I have been trying to update some of these older pictures with some very current photos, before and after Salem's birth. I hope you all can see the love that each of you has been a part of since life took us on this journey. I have many more wonderful family pictures on Facebook to check out as well. God Bless You All...Jason, Ashley, Giana, Salem & Brock :)

Hello everyone and I want to...
Hello everyone and I want to say thank you from me and my family for your kindness and love!! Salem is due in 4 weeks, we are going to induce so that she will arrive on my off week of chemotherapy :) We are very excited!!
Ah chemotherapy...what can I say?? It is pretty sucky! But I can say that overall things are going pretty well. I am recovering a little faster each round and my cancer symptoms are lessening! I have my first appointment at Mission hospital this week at the Integrated Cancer Management Center! I certainly couldn't have afforded it without all of your support! Pray for us as we continue on this journey God has afforded us! God bless you all :)

Jason, I write this message 1 year post my mother's surgery and receiving results yesterday that she is still cancer free . Follow her story on http://www.caringbridge.org/vi sit/judybaudistel. She was diagnosed a little over a year ago with Stage 4 Appendix Cancer. Luckily she lives near Baltimore,MD where one of the top international surgeon treats abdominal cancers, Dr. Sardi. He is our angel! He saved my mother's life. I need you to know about him and see if he can help you. He is one of the few that does something called the HIPEC surgery for abdominal cancers. There is little research or little known about this type of cancer. If there is anything, I can do, please let me know. I have thought about doing something locally here in Asheville to raise awareness and would be happy to help you!!!
