Help Nina Study Abroad in London!

name is Nina McClain, and I am currently a student at Wayne State
University. I was recently accepted to study
abroad in London through a program with Academic Studies Abroad. It has
always been my dream to study in London, and I can't even explain to you
how excited I am!
My end goal is to earn a degree in Journalism and become a foreign correspondent in the print medium. My dream as a journalist is to inform Americans about world events. It bothers me that so many people are either apathetic or have no idea what is actually happening outside our borders. To be frank, this sometimes this includes me. My dream is to be in the middle of the action, giving true reports and not glossing over the gritty parts so that the American public can have a better understanding of the world we are living in.
I'm guessing you're thinking, well that's nice:but what does it have to do with me? To be honest, college is expensive. Studying abroad is even costlier, which I was not expecting. My parents were once in a position to help me financially with college, but unfortunately, this is no longer possible. Between the economy, bills, and my mom's own student loans, I am on my own. My trip is going to cost me approximately $14,000, not including airfare, food and other living expenses. I am estimating that the entire trip will cost me around $18,000.
I am hoping to offset this cost with getting sponsors for my trip. I'm hoping that you will be one of those sponsors. Without the help of donations, I probably won't be able to actually live my dream and study journalism abroad in London. Any help you could give would be appreciated.
