Thank you for taking the time to read about this program! My name is Anthony and I am a Homeschool Alumni finishing my first year of college. College is expensive and I learned this firsthand - that's why I started The Homeschool Community Scholars Program, to help graduating seniors get a jump start on their college education.
The program is unique: A Scholarship by Homeschoolers, For Homeschoolers. Funds are raised to fund as many scholarships as possible. After funds are raised, the program opens for graduating homeschooling students to apply. After all of the applications are judged, scholarships are awarded! It's that simple!

Q: How will applications be judged?
A: Scholarships will judged by an independent panel of judges including but not limited to: Youth & Adult Community Leaders, College Educators, Homeschooling Parents, and Volunteers.
All applications will be judged blindly, with personal information of applicant removed on judging copy.
Q: What is the judging criteria?
A: The judging panel will take into account the following criteria:
-Volunteer, Leadership, and Extracurricular Activities
-Financial Need (Preference will be given to students who are in financial need but all students are eligible and encouraged to apply.)
-Essay
-Passion for chosen area
-Reference Letter(s)
Q: How will donations be processed?
A: Donations will be processed via gofundme and will be deposited into a secure account (minus a fee which gofundme charges). All donations will be sent directly to the winners college after winners are announced (if the unlikely happens and no one applies or not enough money is raised, the money will be used in future scholarships)
