Eyesight Operation Repayment & Glasses

My name is Deborah Ann Palmer and on November 7, 2008 I was rushed to the hospital from my workplace suffering from extreme high blood pressure which resulted in the loss of vision in my left eye. My blood pressure had risen so much that the blood vessels that attach the retina to my eyeball ruptured. This resulted in my not being able to see out of that eye for several months. By Jan. 2010 the doctor having exhausted all other options told me I needed an operation to save my sight. I had the operation at the end of Jan. 2010 but my insurance did not cover the entire cost. Therefore I'm sending out this appeal for funds to pay my Retina Specialist and avoid being taken to court for nonpayment. My vision though somewhat improved is still limited and I need to return for additional eye care and glasses which will cost me around $400 since I also have other challenges with both my left and right eyes. During this period of sickness I experienced a significant loss of income. I was unable to make up the the lost money and fell further and further behind in not only my medical bills but my expenses of daily living. Your donations will help me get back on my feet.
