Save My Brother Tom

Donation protected
My brother, Tom Chase, is blessed. He has family who love him, friends in and out of the radio and record industries, and a charming, low-drama  personality which has always made him fun to be around.  He also has Follicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.  How is that a blessing?  Well, he is alive and treatment exists that can save him! He was diagnosed with lymphoma a couple of years ago, and in the tradition of the nation's biggest radio group, was let go shortly thereafter in spite of years of top ratings and solid performance. His health insurance ran out, and his first two rounds of radiation and chemotherapy pretty much wiped out what money he had.  Tom's current employer, while morally supportive, is so small no insurance is provided.

Now, the lymphoma has come raging back a third time, and is graded stage 3 due to the wide spread lymph gland involvement and other symptoms. To try to knock it out, he must now undergo an even more brutal chemo regime, a drug cocktail which includes something called the "Red Devil."  (The red stuff in the IV tube above) It has helped many others and can be quite effective, but is terribly expensive and physically debilitating. Tom has received two treatments of this Red Devil combo, exhausting his and family funds. He needs several more infusions over the next few months.  His immediate need is to pay for the next treatment scheduled for June.

Tom is not happy about doing a public appeal, but we've convinced him it's better to be a bit uncomfortable--and live.  My wife is a cancer survivor, so I'm familiar with the price tag on these treatments--it is astonishingly expensive, beyond almost anyone's means without insurance. Your prayers and your contributions could save my brother's life.  Any donation helps.

Over the years, Tom has donated much time and effort to supporting others in need, such as working with Opportunity Village, the beloved Las Vegas facility for people with intellectual disabilities, as well as many other charities. I pray charity is now directed his way. It will sure mean a lot to Tom, and to me, if you can help.

Thanks so much, and God bless you.
